Good luck to our Patron, Alastair Humphreys and his three team mates who are setting off to row across the Atlantic Ocean for charity.
Alastair has chosen to support Hope and Homes for Children and is aiming to raise £1 for each of the 3,000 miles the team will row in this ambitious challenge which will be played out over a period of 45 to 60 days.
“Life is simple out there - it’s beautiful, wild and difficult. When things get really tough, thinking about the satisfaction of having persevered when I could have given up helps me to stay motivated.”
Read an interview with Alastair here.
Please show your support by texting OBUL72 £5 to 70070 or visiting www.justgiving.com/AtlanticRow2012 to donate.
You can also follow the team’s progress on an interactive map, or follow Alastair’s blog entries while he is away.
Good luck Alastair!

When we began work in Romania in 1999 there were 100,000 children trapped in institutional care. Today the figure is less than 11,000 and the Romanian Government has committed to working with us to close every state run institution by 2020.

So now you’re feeling inspired and want to use your skills to transform children’s lives?

Take on the challenge of a lifetime! We have a host of experiences for you to take part in whilst raising funds to support our work.
